Golden, BC

I spent a week in Golden, BC mostly just hanging out with Heike as she competed in the Canadian Nationals, which gave up 6 good tasks.

Golden is a big mountain site - majestic ridge lines and valley systems over a hundred miles long with huge sheer rock faces along the way. I only flew once, and it was nice to get back on the glider after my hard reserve landing at the Rat Race.

This month is going to be busy - not much time for flying.
