Time to Migrate North

The trees have lost most of their leaves here in Oz, not the Eucalyptus, but all the non-native trees. Really gorgeous fall colors for sure.

The pic was taken up on Mount Buffalo a couple days ago. Most of the mountain burned a while back, leaving miles of skeleton trees behind.

We have had some nice flying this week, smooth fall conditions and nice Cu, good enough to do little XC flights.

I leave for the States on Wednesday, Portland is finally warming up, global warming up, it will be 96F there tomorrow...

The West Coast Paragliding Championships starts on June 8th - it runs at Woodrat Mountain near Medford Oregon, a spot that resembles Bright.
